A Thrustmaster, nos seus segmentos mais baixos, apresenta o T Hotas Flight X. Este artigo não se pretende esconder por aparências, é barato e tem a aparência e a sensação de o ser. Tanto o acelerador como o joystick são feitos inteiramente de plástico, embora as bases sejam robustas e pesadas o suficiente para não se moverem a meio de um voo comercial. Contudo, é desaconselhável este produto aos simmers de aviação militar, os movimentos mais velozes farão com que o joystick se levante algumas vezes da secretária. Colocando esses aspetos de lado, este modelo é uma ótima aposta pela relação preço-qualidade.
O acelerador e o joystick podem ser fisicamente operados separados ou conectados, o que é conseguido por meio de um gancho simples e uma conexão de duplo parafuso. Alguns podem preferi-los juntos, enquanto outros optam por uma experiência mais natural e realista.
É possível executar inúmeras funções graças ao layout ergonômico equipado com vários botões, que permite configurar os inputs de voo mais instantâneos, como flaps, trens de aterragem, reverse thrust, spoilers,… etc.

Um total de quatro botões de polegar estão localizados na frente, com mais três na base e outros dois botões na parte de trás. Porém, o acelerador peca pela falta de suavidade no movimento, o eixo central neutro torna o ajuste ligeiro de potência do motor muito difícil, uma vez que o acelerador fica preso na posição central, exigindo alguma força para descolar dessa mesma posição.
